Farrier House is a Stanford original. In the style of the bye-gone era, the front stoep is separated from the unpaved road by a gurgling lei-water sloot. Sitting on the stoep, the activities on the Village Green can be observed without leaving its shady comfort.

Set in large private garden within the core conservation area, it offers tall shady trees and a small pool, covered with a security net, in the back garden. There is plenty of space for children to run and play, with a rope swing and tree house platform in the big willow tree.

The careful renovation has maintained the olde-worlde charm while offering modern convenience and comfort.  An open plan lounge/dining area with wood burning stove is furnished in a mix of Cape Cottage antiques and some more modern pieces.  The compact, but well equipped kitchen has fridge/freezer, gas stove with oven, microwave; kettle and toaster. This opens onto an enclosed back stoep furnished with outdoor seating and a built in braai.

Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms. Main with a queen sized bed and built in cupboards. Second bedroom has a double bed and the third smaller bedroom has sturdy double bunks.

Bathrooms: 2 bathrooms. Main bathroom has bath and shower.  Second en suite bathroom with shower only.
