Front and back patios allow guests to soak up 'stoep life' with a book or glass of Overberg wine. The cottage is within the village's residential area and situated close to the nature walk (Wandelpad), and the river. The village's main road with restaurants, coffee shops, Saturday morning markets, art galleries and shopping experiences is a short stroll away. Kayaking, SUPing, birdwatching, boat cruises, walking tours, hikes, and mountain biking are offered in and around Stanford. The region boasts several fine dining experiences and the Stanford Wine Route. Panthera Africa's Big Cat Sanctuary and Rivergate Farm's Flower Picking can add something unique to your getaway.

3 ensuite bedrooms - the third bedroom is detached from main house with its own entrance but linked via an undercover patio adjacent to the pool.

Main bedroom has a bath and air conditioner.

Second bedroom has a shower and misting fan.

Third bedroom has a shower and air conditioner

Quality linen, bath and swimming towels are provided

The living area consists of an airy double volume open plan kitchen, dining and living area with wood burning fire and ceiling fan

The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a gas hob - electric oven, a fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher.

All rooms lead onto the generously furnished front and back undercover patios. 

Front patio has a roller blind for weather protection and privacy. 

The garden is a country cottage style with a lush lawn, roses, flowers and herbs for picking during your stay

The house is built around the sparkling solar heated pool with loungers swimming towels and pool inflatables and Weber braai.

The outside lock up utility room houses the washing machine, a bicycle and outdoor equipment for guests use.

Parking for 2 vehicles within the walled and alarmed property.
